Arctic Data Services was founded in 2014
by Rodney Guritz
Arctic Data Services (ADS) started with a focus on chemical data quality and data management consulting, but quickly expanded to provide a broader range of environmental consulting services. Our environmental expertise encompasses spill response and cleanup; contaminated site assessment, characterization, and cleanup; groundwater assessment and monitoring; soil and groundwater remediation; and air sampling and vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation. Through research with UAF, Mr. Guritz has become one of the leading experts in Alaska on phytoremediation of diesel contaminated soil.
ADS has provided environmental site assessment (ESA) and other environmental services to private, state, and tribal clients on numerous rural projects. Located in Fairbanks, with considerable experience working in and with rural communities, ADS is well positioned for rural site work in Interior and Northern Alaska. ADS recently branched into sustainability consulting, including waste management and planning, building on the experience and relationships of key staff to diversify our services.
